Il Divo at Ikeda Theater

Why see Il Divo?

Il divo are back!

Operatic heartthrobs Il Divo return to the road! After the tragic loss of fellow bandmate Carlos Marin, the members made the choice to keep Il Divo going in honor of Carlos. The quartet will perform a glorious show across North America. Don't miss the talent and joy of this iconic group, better enjoyed live!

Together For Over A Decade

The multinational Il Divo first came to the world's attention on the UK's X-Factor way back in 2004. Since then, Urs, David, the late Carlos, and Sebastien have more than flown the talent show nest, playing to millions across the world and been handpicked to support the likes of Barbara Streisand on tour. Boasting huge crossover appeal, they've proven themselves equally adept at everything from Puccini to Rodgers and Hammerstein. Expect to hear plenty of classic cuts from their impressive back catalogue when Il Divo comes to town.

Amazing, emotional, so glad we saw Il Divo at Smart Financial Center

My husband & I have seen Il Divo several times & always thoroughly loved them & their music. Carlos Marin was my favorite. I was thrilled to have purchased amazing tickets 3 rows from the stage. It was crushing to hear of his death. Such a tragic loss for so many. Last night’s concert was dedicated to Carlos & when the original Il Divo members sang the first song “You Raise Me Up,” it made me cry - for Carlos & for my father as it was one of the songs I chose to be played at my father’s funeral. David Miller, Sebastien Izambard & Urs Buhler sang beautifully & passionately as always. I love how the 3 of them came onstage & spoke about Carlos, how much he meant to them & how devastating his loss was to them. When Steven Labrie was introduced, I had mixed emotions, because no one can replace Carlos. He did a fantastic job singing, his presence & personality, but no one can replace Carlos. Rest in peace Carlos, I know you are entertaining the angels with your heavenly baritone voice. ... Read more
