Why See Arizona Opera - The Barber of Seville?

A rotating cast for the Rossini favorite

Arizona Opera presents Gioachino Rossini popular opera in a sparkling production helmed by Joshua Borths and conducted by maestro Francesco Milioto, who is currently making waves in the both orchestral and operatic circle. The story follows Figaro, the Barber of Seville and a self-made match-maker! His latest project is to ensure the beautiful Rosina is able to wed Count Almaviva, much to the dismay of her guardian Bartolo who wants to marry her himself.

With devious disguises, meddlesome mishaps, the fate of the heart of this young girl is one thrilling and hilarious ride! This delightful production sees the main roles each shared by two singers; Jared Bybee/Joo Won Kang as Figaro, Taylor Stayton/Anthony Ciaramitaro as Count Almavira and Stephanie Lauricella/Katrina Galka as Rosina.
