Chris Tucker Poster

Chris Tucker

October 13, 2017

There is nothing tranquil about comedian/actor Chris Tucker. A limber, wiry fellow with a high-pitched voice and a delivery as fast as a mosquito's wing beats, he seems energy incarnate. Tucker first started out on the LA comedy scene in the Nineties, on the Def Comedy Jam circuit before coming to prominence in films such as his debut, Friday and then the Rush Hour trilogy. Nowadays he is back on the stage following an expensive run-in with the IRS, and his humor draws upon this and his early life, switching seamlessly between different personas.

The follow-up to 2012's What We Saw From the Cheap Seats, Regina's seventh record is a lushly orchestrated effort packed full of the pitch-perfect pop that Regina has made her own, such as the bouncy, electronically-tinged lead single 'Bleeding Heart'.

When most people get mad, they tend find a way to overcome their anger. Sebastian Maniscalco, on the other hand, uses his rage to fuel his acerbic, quick-witted stand-up comedy. With the point of view only an old-school Italian-American upbringing could produce, Maniscalco takes aim at the disintegration of society and the annoyances of the daily grind with hilarious consequences.
